Civil marriage ceremonies fall on Valentine's Day
“I don’t ever have to worry about another Valentine’s Day gift. I got him right here,” said Gail Hunt, who married Manuel Turner during a civil marriage ceremony conducted by Judge Ellen Dunne on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Clayton. The weekly civil marriages that happen each Wednesday happened to fall on Valentine’s Day this year. Thirty-eight couples celebrated the holiday by tying the knot.

Amendment 3 passes
