ST. LOUIS — The city's economic development agency hopes a new $350,000 grant program will help three organizations clean up graffiti, broken windows and other ailments in their neighborhoods.
Dutchtown Main Streets, Laclede’s Landing Main Street and Delmar Main Street will be able to provide grants of up to $5,000 per incident to businesses in their districts.
The grants can be used for temporary window or door board-ups, graffiti removal, damaged murals, window or door repairs, as well as other preventative security measures, according to a release.
The groups are part of the Main Streets program, a statewide initiative aimed at bolstering commercial corridors.
